Two new restaurants are slated to open in Trussville in a new shopping development in Highway 11.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Two new restaurants are set to open in Trussville, possible in a new development on Highway 11, according to reports.

According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, Chicken Salad Chick and Metro Diner are set to open Trussville locations, but the exact spots for these eateries have yet to be officially confirmed. The new shopping plaza planned for U.S. Highway 11 between the Tutwiler subdivision entrance and the entrance to Calumet is the possible destination for the restaurants.

The timeline for the opening of the restaurants has not been announced, but property where the restaurants are expected to locate is being cleared for construction at this time.
