Vehicle Auction Facility Planned Near Leeds
A Copart vehicle auction facility could come to the Leeds area near the Barber Motorsports Park.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A new vehicle auction facility may open near the Barber Motorsports Park. A report from the Birmingham Business Journal said Copart looks to open the facility at near the intersection of interstates 20 and 459 in the Liberty Highlands area.
A request from Copart has been made to the Birmingham Planning & Zoning Committee.
The 38.5-acre site is currently home to the Birmingham location of Manheim Auctions, an automobile auction company based in Atlanta, according to the BBJ report.
