Zoning Board Denies Gas Station Proposed For Highway 11

Plans for a new gas station proposed in Trussville were denied by the Trussville Planning and Zoning Board.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — Plans for a new gas station on Highway 11 in Trussville were denied Monday by the Trussville Planning and Zoning Board. A report by the Trussville Tribune said the board will recommend to the Trussville City Council not to approve the rezoning of the existing properties.

The properties, part of Industrial Park, sit across from the Saddlewood subdivision and residents of the subdivision voiced concerns over increased traffic and light pollution, among other potential problems.
