Moose Crashes Wedding, Photobombs Alaska Couple’s First Kiss
A moose in Alaska interrupts a couple's first kiss as husband and wife, then hangs around to photobomb the wedding pictures.

ANCHORAGE, AK — It’s an Alaska problem. A moose wandered onto the lawn where an Anchorage couple were getting married Saturday and stuck around to photobomb the wedding pictures.
High school sweethearts Shandalyn Brown and Alan Cuellar were about to seal their vows with a kiss on the Bayshore Clubhouse lawn when they heard rustling in the woods and trees behind them.
Suddenly, a moose was heading toward the couple as they stood beneath a wooden arch decorated with green ferns and white and pink flowers. Wedding photographer Bria Celest snapped away, capturing a memorable set of photos with the unexpected drop-in guest in the background.

The moose briefly disrupted the wedding before the pastor “reined everyone back in,” Shandalyn, a 22-year-old dental assistant, told the Anchorage Daily News. “He said, ‘Let’s get this done, let’s get them married’.”
The moose stuck around for the rest of the ceremony, providing a treat for one of the bridesmaids who hailed from Florida and had hoped to see a moose during her visit to Alaska, the bride said.

Brown and Cuellar, a 25-year-old school bus driver, met as students at Service High School. Unlike the visiting bridesmaid, they are accustomed to seeing wildlife and they're enjoying the novelty of the uninvited moose.
"He didn't even RSVP," Shandalyn joked to television station WMUR.
"It couldn't get more Alaska than that," Alan noted.
