The Alaska NSF EPSCoR Fire & Ice project announces the availability of funding to
enable UA faculty, staff and students to present their research, to interact with
colleagues and mentors, and/or to obtain training. Grants may be used for travel to,
or remote attendance at, conferences, workshops, trainings, or other appropriate academic
settings. Awards are for up to $3,500 and cover domestic travel only (remote participation
in international events is allowed). Application deadline is rolling through Aug.
31, 2021 and travel or participation must be completed by Sept. 30, 2021.
