Blanche is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

She needs a quiet home.

Blanche is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 7 year old, 15 pound, female, Terrier mix.

When her owner died, Blanche was taken to a private pet rescue in the Imperial Valley. After that she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

Blanche will do best in a home where there is not a lot of commotion. She’s shy in new situations, but social once she gets comfortable.

Her new family will need to help Blanche build her confidence. She will need lots of positive reinforcement.

The $75 adoption fee for Blanche includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services. Have a plan for yourself and your pets. Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society and FreeWill can help you create your own legal will. It’s free and most people finish in 20 minutes or less. Many pet owners do not have pet guardianship plans for their animals, which means they have no assurance that their pets will be cared for. You can also use FreeWill to create a will that you then finalize with your own attorney. For more information log on to www.sdpets.org or call 760-753-6413
