Brush Fire Report In North County Unfounded
Officials received a report of a fire at 4:07 p.m., but there wasn't a blaze.
RANCHO SANTA FE, CA -- A report of a brush fire Tuesday afternoon near Rancho Santa Fe was unfounded. Officials said they received a report of a blaze around 4:07 p.m. near Del Dios Highway and Calle Ambiente, but responding firefighters did not find any fires.
Elsewhere in the region, firefighters were also battling a blaze in Santee. The fire prompted evacuations of nearby homes as authorities closed the roads to the public.
