Carnation is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

Carnation is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 6 year old, 9-1/2 pound, female, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Brown and White Tabby coat.

Carnation was surrendered to an animal shelter in Riverside County when her owner of 5 years moved and couldn’t take her along. She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

Before that she lived with a French Bulldog and one other cat. Carnation is friendly and affectionate. Loud noises scare her. Her owner says that Carnation was an indoor-only cat who slept on the guest bed.

Tees fore Tails! Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society will host its furrst ever golf tournament on Tuesday, June 8 at the Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe.

Check in at 8:30. Shotgun start at 10:00. Lunch is provided. Cocktail reception at 2:30 and the Awards Ceremony starts at 3:00. Entry fee is $375 for individual golfers or $1,300 per foursome.
