Del Mar Community & Visitor Center Opens on Camino Del Mar
The Del Mar Village Association is planning a grand opening celebration on Feb. 21, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m

A new community centered opened in Del Mar. The Del Mar Community & Visitor Center at 1104 Camino Del Mar, across from City Hall, will serve as a welcome center for both locals and visitors.
Staffed by the Del Mar Village Association, the Community & Visitor Center will provide information on events, activities, dining and hotels in Del Mar.
“We’re happy to have a visible location in the heart of Del Mar that will not only serve as an information gathering place for locals but will assist visitors as they explore our Village,” Mathew Bergman, president of the Del Mar Village Association, said in an announcement.

The center will have restaurant menus, maps, visitors’ guides and information on community and special events.
In addition, the Community & Visitor Center will soon sell Del Mar gifts, including license plate frames, holiday ornaments, surf wax, wine glasses and more.

Winter hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Spring hours will be extended.
