Hoops Stars from Cathedral Catholic to Play in County All-Star Game

Several boys and girls basketball players from Cathedral Catholic High Schools in Del Mar Heights have been selected to participate in the 2013 Senior All-Star Game, which will be played Friday, April 12 at Horizon Christian High School. The teams were selected by the San Diego County Basketball Coaches Association.

Wendy Anae was selected to play for the South Team in the Girls game, which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Niksha Federico, Brandon Michel and Xavier Williams been selected to play for the South Team in the Boys game, which begins at 8 p.m.

Additionally, there will be a boys and girls 3-Point Shootout and a Boys Slam Dunk Contest during the evening. Federico has also been selected to participate in the 3-Point contest.

The 3-Point Contests will be at halftime of each game. The Dunk Contest will be at approximately 7:15 p.m before the start of the boys game.

Tickets will only be available at the door and will cost $12 for adults and $8 for students. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m.
