How To Save Money At San Diego County Fair 2018
Here's a list of all the discounts and deals to this year's fair.
SAN DIEGO, CA -- Is the wallet tight this year? Or maybe you just love deals? (I mean, don't we all?) Thankfully, the San Diego County Fair is offering a bevy of deals and discounts so you can enjoy all the offerings while still respecting the bank account when the annual festival opens June 1.
Here's a list of all the deals and discounts we found:
Groupon: You can purchase two general admission tickets for $23 or three general admission tickets for $35. That's a nearly 50 percent discount. Buy the tickets here.

Albertsons and Vons: On June 1 (Opening Day), June 2 and June 6, you can enjoy the fair for just $5! Purchase the tickets at your nearby Vons or Albertsons. A minimum purchase of $10 of groceries is required.
Military: In a salute to our heroes, the San Diego County Fair is offering free admission to active duty, reservists, retirees, dependents and DoD employees on June 1. You can pick up two complimentary tickets at base ticket offices. Members of the military can also find other deals at their base ticket offices.

Sweet 16: In accordance with this year's fair theme, "How Sweet It Is," any 16-year-old who attends the fair can get in for free. Just show your photo ID with your birthday.
Kids' Day: The fair will host Kids' Day on June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 where children who are 12 and under can get into the fair for free. That's a $12 savings per child!
Toyota 2 for 1: Toyota dealerships will have coupons to purchase two adult admission tickets for the price of one. The tickets are valid on the weekends.
Foster Kids Day: Make a difference and get into the fair for free on June 7. Just bring a donation of new clothes or cash between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The donation will benefit foster kids in San Diego County.
School Staff Appreciation Day: Do you work at a local school? You can get four free tickets from any Mission Federal Credit Union location when you show your school employment card. The tickets are good for June 15, 22 and 29.
