Mike is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

He likes to talk.

(RCHS)

Mike is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 3 year old, 11 pound, male, Domestic Medium Hair cat with a Red and White Tabby coat.

Mike was a stray cat living in Riverside County until he was caught and taken to a local animal shelter. After that he was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

This cat is a “talker.” In the cattery, he seems to think that it’s his job to greet everyone who gets close enough to hear him. Mike will hop down from wherever he’s been napping and calmly walk to the door to say hello.

He really likes attention, but he also likes to be the one who decides when playtime is over. When he’s done, he’s done. Just let him walk away. He will be glad to see you the next time.

The $100 adoption fee for Mike includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip. For information about Adoption by Appointment or to become a Virtual Foster log on to www.SDpets.org.
