Paranorman is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week
He's active, even when you're not looking.

Paranorman is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 3 year old, 10 pound, male, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Brown and White Tabby coat.
Depending on who you ask, Paranorman either gets his name from a 2012 animated movie, or because the care providers in the cattery began seeing “Para-Norman activity” when he thought nobody was watching. He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program. He’s very affectionate and outgoing in his kennel. When Paranorman thinks there’s a chance he can get some attention, he rubs against the bars. If you respond, he gives head-butts to encourage you not to stop.
The $100 adoption fee for Paranorman includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day but Tuesday.
