Police Ask Public's Help in Search for Missing Man
Jose Navarrete, 82, suffers from Alzheimer's. He was last seen as he left his home in the 1200 block of Caminito Cita in Palm City, adjacent to Imperial Beach.
San Diego police put out a call today for people to be on the lookout for a missing 82-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease.
Jose Navarrete left his home in the 1200 block of Caminito Cita in Palm City, adjacent to Imperial Beach, around 1 p.m. Thursday to walk to his brother's residence in the Nestor neighborhood. He makes the trek on a daily basis, police said, but this time failed to arrive.
A photo of him was not immediately available. Navarrete is about 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hat, black jacket, jeans and black shoes.
