Xenon is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2 year old, 55 pound, female, Pit Bull mix.
Xenon was a stray before she and three of her friends were taken to a shelter in the Imperial Valley. They were transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. The other three dogs have been adopted. Now it’s Xenon’s turn.
Xenon is very cautious when she meets people for the first time. When she feels comfortable, she wants to sniff you before letting you pet her.

She’s been doing great in a foster home with another dog, two teenagers, and her toys. She needs an owner who will be patient with her.
The $145 adoption fee for Xenon includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
