Birkenstock is Pet of The Week

Birkenstock is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1-1/2 year old, 54 pound, German Shepherd mix.

Birkenstock is a happy, jumpy dog who loves to greet people at the front of his kennel.

When it’s time for a walk, he makes it very easy to put on his leash. He needs some positive reinforcement to keep him from pulling once his walk begins.

This is a dog who will come to you, asking for attention. Birkenstock will melt into you to get closer. He‘s more interested in people than toys.

Birkenstock was transferred from another shelter through the FOCAS program.
