California Coastal Cleanup at San Elijo Lagoon

On September 17 - Join to Make a Difference to Clean Our Coast and Waterways

California Coastal Cleanup Day is September 17: 9 am-12 pm

How do you love your lagoon? Join the state's largest annual volunteer event, where each person makes a difference. On California Coastal Cleanup Day, we're meeting up to help remove invasive plants that compete for water and that overrun habitat for native species in the reserve. We'll remove plastics and debris that harm our coasts and waterways. It's a great way to get outdoor fitness while improving our lands and waters, and meeting others with the same passions for a better world. Thank you for volunteering for California Coastal Cleanup Day! Register

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy is the nonprofit land trust for the 979-acre San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve. Online at SanElijo.org and (760) 436-3944.
