Enter Now Through March 31. Photographers of All Ages Invited to Submit Inspired Discoveries at San Elijo Lagoon.

How Do You Love Your Lagoon?
Visitors at San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve are sharing their best moments showing how they love their lagoon. Whether it’s photographing landscapes aglow at sunset, friends and family on the trails, or the iridescence in a hummingbird’s throat, the sky is the limit for entries.
The 3rd Annual #loveyourlagoon Photo Contest is presented by San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy in partnership with MiraCosta College. Entries are accepted now through March 31 at 11:59 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in First Place and People’s Choice Awards. MiraCosta visual arts department judges will select the First Place winner. People’s Choice nominations are selected by the contest judges. The image with the most social media “likes” receives People’s Choice.
More than the arts, this contest celebrates you, and healthy lands, waters and wildlife within the 1000-acre ecological reserve. With seven miles of trails winding through coastal and upland habitats, the possibilities for finding inspiration begin with every footstep on the trail.
