Del Mar Super Station To Close Due To Vaccine Delivery Shortfall

SAN DIEGO, CA — The Scripps Del Mar Fairgrounds Vaccination Super Station will be closed Wednesday, March 31; Saturday, April 3; and Sunday, April 4 due to the low number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that were delivered this week, Scripps Health announced Monday.

Patients who had appointments scheduled at the super station on one of those dates are being rescheduled automatically through the MyTurn online appointment system, according to Scripps Health.

The super station provides drive-thru and walk-thru services on an appointment-only basis to anyone eligible to receive a shot under county guidelines. The site offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
