Del Mar Super Station To Close Due To COVID-19 Vaccine Shortfall
The Del Mar Fairgrounds station will be closed Wednesday, Friday and Saturday due to the low number of vaccine doses that were delivered.
SAN DIEGO, CA — The Scripps Del Mar Vaccination Super Station at the Del Mar Fairgrounds will be closed Wednesday, March 17; Friday, March 19; and Saturday March 20 due to the low number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that were delivered this week, Scripps Health announced Monday.
Patients who had appointments at the super station on one of those days are being rescheduled automatically through the MyTurn online appointment system, according to Scripps Health.
The super station provides drive-thru and walk-thru services on an appointment-only basis to anyone eligible to receive a shot under county guidelines. The site offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
