Drip, Dropping Away: Family Fun Day
San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center
Sunday, August 2: 11:30 am-1:30 pm

Rain falls. Rivers flow and snow melts. What happens when it’s all gone? Explore how to save more water by practicing simple things we can do daily. The City of Encinitas will present a watershed activity and give away free, reusable bags. Kids can play a water journey game while they create a bracelet. Tours of the San Elijo Water Reclamation Facility, across the street from the nature center, will be conducted at 12 Noon and 12:30 PM. The facility provides safe and reliable recycled water and wastewater services to protect the environment and public health.

Family Fun Days is always the first Sunday of the month. Co-presented by County Rangers and San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy docents.
