Encinitas Restaurant Named Among 100 'Most Scenic'

OpenTable has released its 100 "most scenic" restaurants in the nation. Did your favorite spot in Encinitas make the cut?

ENCINITAS, CA — Diners looking for a restaurant with a view should look no further than Encinitas, home to one of the "most scenic" restaurants in the country. That's according to the online reservation company OpenTable, which recently published its "100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America" list for 2019.

Here are the restaurants from San Diego County that made the list, including one from Cardiff-by-the-Sea in Encinitas:

OpenTable selected the restaurants based solely on diner reviews collected between June 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019. To qualify, restaurants had to meet a minimum overall score and attain a certain number of reviews for consideration. The overall score consists of unique data points, such as overall diner rating, user clout, total reviews and regional overall rating. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the total number of tags for which "scenic views" was cited as a special feature.
