Gas Prices Drop Below $4 a Gallon

Drivers in San Diego County are paying less at the pump.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell under $4 for the first time since Feb. 4 Sunday, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.997.

The average price has fallen 44 times in 46 days, dropping 29.7 cents, including eight-tenths of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.9 cents less than one week ago, 17.8 cents lower than last month and 25.1 cents below what it was one year ago.
