Help At Risk San Diego Youth Rewrite Their Future
Local San Diego Nonprofit is helping to change the system and rewrite the future for hundreds of at risk youth in Southern California.

{New Haven Youth and Family Services is a San Diego nonprofit headquartered in Vista, CA. Their October 9th Gala event is taking place in Carlsbad Village. New Haven helps at risk youth all over Southern California.}
"In the past decade, the number of children behind bars decreased so dramatically that in San Diego County – and across the state – juvenile halls and camps stand at unprecedented levels of emptiness.” - Voice of San Diego (Sept 13, 2018)
New Haven Youth and Family Services is making a profound effect on San Diego's at-risk youth. Their education, life, and work skills development model is innovative and more comprehensive than other programs. Here are just some of the ways they are helping to "change the system":
- contract with over 50 Southern California school districts to engage youth that have been unsuccessful in pubic schools
- offer daily student curriculum and a 24 hours a day, seven days a week "live in” residential treatment program in 12 residences throughout Vista, Oceanside and San Marcos
- provide transitional living support to young adults who face limited options as they transition from supervised care to independent living

New Haven is asking the community to get involved! A great way to do this is to attend their Annual Restoring Hope Gala Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018. The event will take place outside, under the stars in the Fountain Courtyard at the Carlsbad Village Faire Shops. Learn more HERE.
