When You Think Summer Camp, Does It Include Nature Discovery?
Lagoon Discovery Camps Registration is Under Way. Choose among half-day, weeklong sessions for youth ages 6-9: July 11-15 (sold out), July 18-22, and July 25-29.
Campers can explore the unique habitats of San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve, and make friends while playing and learning outdoors. Children will observe plant and animal life by hearing, seeing, smelling, touching, even tasting nature. Outdoor activities include live animal encounters, learning to identify animal tracks, and making crafts from recycled and natural materials. Plus, discovery hikes, playing games, and journaling. Camps are led by conservancy staff and trained naturalists.
Time: 9 am - 1 pm
