Celebrate "spots and dots" this Fourth of July Weekend—It's Ladybug Family Fun Day on July 5 at San Elijo Lagoon.

San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center
Young children can get to know beautifully colored ladybugs—an excellent friend in our gardens! Onsite activities at the San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center will reveal a ladybug’s lifecycle. Kids can decorate a box to take ladybugs back home for release in the backyard or in potted outdoor plants.
Free Family Fun Days at San Elijo Lagoon is always the first Sunday of the month. Co-presented by County Rangers and San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy docents.

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy is the nonprofit landtrust for San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve. Its mission is to protect and restore the resources of the lagoon, its watershed, and related ecosystems for the benefit of current and future generations.
