Orchid is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

Orchid is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2 year old, 5 pound, female, Domestic Medium Hair cat with a Brown Tabby coat.

She was a stray, living in a garage in Riverside County with two other cats. All three cats were taken to a shelter.

Orchid needed food and human contact. She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

She’s still underweight and it would be good for her to gain a few pounds. Orchid gets along great with other cats and she really loves it when people pet her.

The Community Pet Food Bank at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society will host a “Holiday Baskets” for pet supplies giveaway on Sunday, December 20th from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Pet Food Bank is at the entrance to Rancho Coastal Humane Society and Kamp Kanine Day Care for Dogs at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas. Do your holiday shopping at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Thrift Shop at 120 Aberdeen Drive in Cardiff by the Sea. You’ll save money while you’re supporting programs and services for people and pets. The Thrift Shop is organized into departments that make shopping easy while allowing for safe, social distancing for customers. Gift certificates also make great presents.
