Pet of the Week: Katniss the Kitten

Rancho Coastal Humane Society:

"Katniss" is the Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. She's a 3 month old, 3-1/2 pound, Domestic Short Haired, Tabby kitten.         

When Katniss and the other kittens from her litter first arrived at Rancho Coastal Humane Society it seemed as if they hadn’t had much contact with humans or other cats. In thesafety of the cattery they were surrounded by other kittens and they had lots of contact people. Their purr-sonalities soon began to emerge. Now they play with the other kittens and love it when people pet them.

Katniss and her litter mates were surrendered to Rancho Coastal Humane Society by a family that had more pets than they could care for.

The $195 adoption fee for Katniss includes her medical exam, up to date vaccinations, spay, and microchip identification.
