Summer Evening Walk August 19

See what emerges at dusk during "nature's happy hour". Join the final guided summer evening walk in San Elijo Lagoon this season.

Have some free time after work? Gather your friends for a naturalist-guided evening stroll along Santa Carina Trail in San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve -- this Wednesday, August 19. With approaching dusk and sage-scented breezes, night becomes day for some animals. You may glimpse a family of mule deer grazing in the reeds. See lizards soaking up the last bit of sun, darting rabbits, or shrieking hawks above.

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy is the nonprofit land trust for San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve. Its mission is to protect and restore the resources of the lagoon, its watershed, and related ecosystems for the benefit of current and future generations.
