  1. San Diego Sheriff's Deputies who serve Encinitas will hold a meet and greet from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Target Parking Lot, 1010 N. El Camino Real. The event is part of the National Night Out Against Crime
  2. Weather: Tuesday is expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 72, according to weather.com. 
  3. SDSU announced its College of Extended Studies will kick off the fall semester for its Professional Certificate in the Business of Wine program by offering Exploring Wine on Mondays, August 26-Sept. 30, 6-9 pm.
  4. Break out the Listerine, Binaca or Scope. Tuesday is Fresh Breath Day. Come to think of it, every day should be Fresh Breath Day.
