Join the statewide campaign to help reduce traffic and smog and pledge to carpool, vanpool, take public transit, walk, bike or telecommute for at least one day during Rideshare Week. Pledge forms are available online at metro.net/rideshare. To sweeten the deal for ridesharing commuters, those who pledge before midnight on Friday, Oct. 5 will be entered to win great prizes.

Want to share but don’t know how? Call 511 and say “Los Angeles County Rideshare” or visitmetro.net/rideshare to find a sharing plan. There also will be a Clean Air/Rideshare Fair on Thursday, Oct. 4 at downtown’s new Grand Park. Head over between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make some ridesharing connections and grab some free giveaways. Grand Park is easily accesible from the Civic Center Station off the Metro Red and Purple lines.
