Body Found Alongside Hollywood (101) Freeway
Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found near the number 1 lane under Vermont Avenue in East Hollywood.
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found alongside the Hollywood (101) Freeway in East Hollywood Monday morning.
The body was reported shortly after 4 a.m. near the number 1 lane under Vermont Avenue, said CHP Officer Peter Nicholson. The Los Angeles Police Department discovered the body and reported it to the California Highway Patrol, and the two agencies are trying to determine which will handle the investigation, Nicholson said.
Authorities did not immediately release any information about the victim.
