Brush Fire Burns One Acre Near Elysian Park
Firefighters extinguished the blaze in 31 minutes, and no injuries were reported.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A brush fire broke out around 2:13 p.m. in the 500 block of North Park Row Drive, near the 110 freeway and the corner of Elysian Park. The fire burned about an acre of brush before 57 firefighters contained the blaze around 2:44 p.m.
No buildings were damaged, and no injuries were reported. Crews are still on scene to continue mop-up operations.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
