CA State Assembly 50 Results: Richard Bloom Wins Re-Election
Democratic incumbent Richard Bloom won by a wide margin with over 80% of the votes.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Democratic incumbent Richard Bloom has defeated challenger Will Hess in the race for California State Assembly District 50. Associated Press called the race Wednesday morning as Bloom held a sweeping 81.4% of the tally with 169,338 votes counted.
District 50 contains Hollywood, Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills, Malibu and nearby communities.

Bloom took home 78.7% of votes in the March 3 primary. Hess came in at a distant second with 14.5% of votes, earning the right to challenge Bloom in the general election.
