Car Crash on Southbound 101 Requires Ambulance

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A car collision on the southbound 101 freeway is causing a traffic slowdown in Hollywood. The accident took place around 3:18 p.m. near the Santa Monica Boulevard exit according to California Highway Patrol.

An initial CHP report said a Black Audi crashed into a Ford Mustang. Both cars were along the right shoulder of the freeway, and an ambulance was called to the scene to treat the victims.

The extent of the injuries wasn't immediately known. A live traffic map showed a slowdown back to Hollywood Boulevard.
