The following crimes are reported Jan. 16-21 in the Hollywood area.

Nearly 30 crimes were reported Jan. 16-21 in the Hollywood area, according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police department.

Burglaries (3 total):

  • 2:41 a.m. Jan. 18, 7200 block of West Sunset Boulevard.
  • 10:30 a.m. Jan. 17, 6500 block of Yucca Street.
  • 7:15 a.m. Jan. 17, 7000 block of La Presa Drive. Attempted burglary.

Thefts/larcenies (13 total): 2:30 p.m. Jan. 20, 1500 block of Vine Street. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under. View the full list of thefts here.

Stolen cars (5 total):

  • 10:30 p.m. Jan. 20, 1200 block of North Las Palmas Avenue.
  • 5:35 p.m. Jan. 19, 1100 block of North Highland Avenue. 
  • 6 a.m. Jan. 19, Yucca and Ivar.
  • 12:05 a.m. Jan. 18, Cassil Place and Selma Avenue.
  • 11 p.m. Jan. 17, 1700 block of North Cherokee Avenue.

Robberies (1 total): 4 a.m. Jan. 19, Hollywood Boulevard and Poinsettia.
