Driver Arrested After Leading Police On Brief Hollywood Chase
The car rammed into the front of a box truck and was sandwiched by police, causing a standoff as the driver refused to exit the car.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A woman was arrested after leading police on a short chase in a stolen Jeep in Hollywood Friday morning.
Police deployed a spike strip to slow down the stolen car. The spike strip flattened at least one tire, allowing officers to block it in after the Jeep rammed into the front of a box truck.
A standoff ensued after the woman refused to get out of the car. Footage showed the driver unsuccessfully trying to accelerate and drive off while surrounded by police.

Police eventually moved in and arrested the driver around 12:30, who was taken into custody without further incident.
