Fire Along Northbound 101 Off-Ramp Causes Closure

HOLLYWOOD, CA — An offramp along the northbound 101 freeway was closed Thursday afternoon after a fire broke out. The fire was reported at the North Cahuenga Boulevard exit at 12:14 p.m.

Los Angeles Fire Department asked for the ramp to be shut down at 12:23 p.m. Fire trucks were at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire wasn't immediately available. Drivers can use the Highland Avenue as a detour while the ramp remains closed.
