Food Giveaway To Be Held At Los Angeles Community College
The event will pass out family-sized boxes of food, enough to last about two weeks.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — In need of assistance putting food on the table for the rest of the month? A drive-through food giveaway will be held this Thursday at Los Angeles Community College to help stock your pantry.
Each family-sized box will have enough food for about two weeks, and includes meat, fruits and vegetables, and other staples. Everyone is eligible and welcome to attend.
The event will be held at 4301 Melrose Avenue, at the New Hampshire Avenue entrance to Los Angeles Community College. Food will be given way from 9 a.m. through 12 p.m, and the line will start at 8:30 a.m. Walk-ups will not be able to receive food at this event, and all attendees must remain in their cars for pick-up.

Those who don't have access to a car are asked to go to covid19.lacounty.gov/food to find more resources across Los Angeles.
The event is sponsored by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, L.A. County, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and LACC.
