Here’s The Memorial Day Forecast For Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer in Hollywood, and this year, many residents will mark the new season with a three-day weekend filled with memorial services, outdoor events and backyard barbecues.

At this point, your weekend is likely planned to a T. But, as most of us know, Mother Nature could always step in and ruin that carefully outlined itinerary with a trifecta of rain, storms and cloudy skies.

So far, Hollywood looks as if it will avoid a gloomy meteorological fate, according to the most recent forecast for our area.

As you head home from work Friday evening, expect mostly sunny skies, with patchy fog that will start to roll in after 11 p.m. National Weather Service forecasts a high around 84 degrees, with a low around 59 degrees.

That fog should dissipate before 11 a.m. Saturday, giving way to sunny skies with a high around 81 degrees. Saturday night, temperatures should drop to around 58 degrees, with patchy fog returning after 11 p.m.

Sunday will bring more of the same, with a high near 78 degrees and a low around 58. On Memorial Day, forecasters again expect mostly sunny skies with a high around 82 degrees.
