HOLLYWOOD, CA — Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl's summer concert season officially went on sale Tuesday. The on-sale date came days after the news that the historic open-air concert venue would welcome full-capacity crowds this summer.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association had previously announced that the Bowl would be a "majority vaccinated venue," with two sections reserved for non-vaccinated people who must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test to be admitted. But with the state and county set to lift the majority of COVID restrictions on June 15, the Bowl will now welcome full-capacity crowds.

"Based on new guidance, from Los Angeles County and the State of California, the Hollywood Bowl concerts will increase to 100% available capacity for concerts starting in July," Hollywood Bowl said in a statement. "This means previously announced social distancing and fully vaccinated-only sections have been removed for the season."

The Hollywood Bowl said they were waiting on guidance from the County Department of Public Health in regards to their mask policy. Organizers said they encourage guests to get vaccinated, but will ask those who are unvaccinated to show a negative coronavirus test within 72 hours of the concert.

Hollywood Bowl tickets are available online at hollywoodbowl.com or through the Hollywood Bowl app or in person at the Bowl's box office.

Also on Tuesday, DJ D-Nice announced his typically virtual "Club Quarantine" would make it's first in-person stop at the Hollywood Bowl this summer. Club Quarantine, which started as an Instagram Live concert to entertain home-bound music fans at the start of the pandemic, will hit the Bowl stage on August 29.

"It’s beautiful to see that during a dark time, we’ve all found ways to stay connected virtually," D-Nice said. "Thanks to IG, we’ve spent the last 15 months dancing together from the comfort of our homes. Today, I’m excited to announce that on August 29th, we will get to dance together in real life."

Special guests for the Club Quarantine show will include the Isley Brothers, Trey Songz, Common, Amerie, Carl Thomas and more.

"I imagined this being the first CQ Live and we all manifested it together," D-Nice continued. "Thanks to the CQ community for keeping me inspired. Thanks to all of the artists that believed in the vision. Thanks to teams at Live Nation Urban, Hollywood Bowl, LA Phil and BrandNice for getting it done. Music saves lives."

The Hollywood Bowl's summer lineup will also include Kamasi Washington, Kool & The Gang, Yo-Yo Ma and more. Find the full schedule of performances here.
