HOLLYWOOD, CA — MUJI's six-year run in Hollywood has come to an end. The store announced its closing its doors and removing all of its minimalistic household goods, office supplies and travel items permanently at the location at 7021 Hollywood Blvd.

"Thank you for eight wonderful years in California," MUJI wrote in a press release. "We hope you will continue to shop with us online. Our website remains fully operational and our customer service experts are always available to answer any questions you may have."

The Japanese retailer opened in Hollywood in 2013. The 8,600 square foot venue was the largest MUJI store in America at the time, until the new Santa Monica store surpassed it in 2018.
