Universal Studios Hollywood Presents: EVE
Universal Studios Hollywood is throwing tinseltown’s biggest NYE party. EVE will transform three areas of the park into uniquely-themed party hubs that will light up at midnight with a traditional New Year countdown and a spectacular fireworks display.
Guests can toast the New Year with the spirit of the holidays already resonating throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” introduces “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” Several times each night, guests can enjoy amazing images inspires by the Harry Potter films as they come to life in breathtaking digital light projection on the backdrop of Hogwarts castle. And with extended hours on December 31, guests can celebrate the final day of “Grinchmas” with The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos.
EVE is Universal Studios Hollywood’s first-ever New Year’s Eve in-park celebration.

Tickets: The event is included in the price of theme park admission and invites guests to spend the day and night enjoying its many popular rides and attractions with a special park-wide countdown party featuring multiple entertainment hubs with DJs and live music.
Minimal Effort NYE
Minimal Effort announced that London house maestro Maya Jane Coles and Culprit's own DJ collective Droog will be completing their lineup for their 2017 New Year’s Eve soiree. While marking its return to The MacArthur, Minimal Effort will celebrate the new year with pure excitement and extravagance with their main goal in mind - to bring dance music’s underground roots to LA’s party elite.

Pacific Wheel New Year's Eve Show
Reaching far West in the continental United States, Pacific Park will feature its 90-feet tall 2018 countdown to New Year’s Eve on the world-famous Ferris wheel that will also feature a “Happy New Year!” horizontal crawl, oversized “2018,” multi-colored confetti, and a variety of colors and patterns for the New Year’s Eve celebration.
The Pacific Wheel’s 174,000 LED lights are mounted on the Ferris wheel’s structure including the 40 spokes and two hubs. The world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel’s lighting system features 16.7 million color value combinations while the programming and display software presents imaging up to 24 frames per second to display dynamic, custom, computer-generated lighting entertainment. The eco-friendly, enhanced LED lighting provides 81 percent greater energy savings than most Ferris wheel’s traditional incandescent bulbs.

“New Year’s Eve Live” With Anderson Cooper And Andy Cohen
Where to catch it: CNN
Why you should watch: For the first time ever, Anderson Cooper will host CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve Live special with none other than “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen. As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair. The Bravo mogul will replace Cooper’s former co-host Kathy Griffin, whom CNN fired after her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018” Hosted by Ryan Seacrest
Where to catch it: ABC
Why you should watch: Remember last year’s infamous Mariah Carey mic incident? Yes, it happened on Seacrest’s watch. So if that’s any indication, this could be a good one to tune-in to. And even if there aren’t any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
