Hollywood Today: American Cinematheque Hosts Tribute to Ken Russell

American Cinematheque will host a tribute to director Ken Russell Wednesday night. Russell, known for his daring and outrageous films, died of natural causes at the age of 84 in November 2011. Catch a screening of one of his movies, The Music Lovers starring Richard Chamberlain as 19th century Russian composer Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky at the at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $11.
