Inside the World Premiere of 'Avengers: Endgame': Photos

HOLLYWOOD, CA —Eleven years in the making, Marvel’s highly anticipated “Avengers: Endgame” finally held its world premiere in Hollywood Monday night at the Los Angeles Convention Center, bringing together "Avengers" alumni, who have made the superhero saga mythical and mighty in scope and dimension.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the much-hyped film is the grand conclusion to a series of 22 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a three-phase franchise that began with 2008’s “Iron Man.” Moreover, “Endgame” is the final chapter to the “Avenger” film franchise that began with 2012’s “The Avengers,” and was followed by 2015’s “Age of Ultron,” and 2018’s “Infinity War.”

For those moviegoers who are not familiar with the story, “Endgames” will see Earth’s mightiest heroes take one final stand to find a way to win the war against the evil titan “Thanos” before it’s too late for mankind.
