Inside The World Premiere Of 'Solo: A Star Wars Story'
The Millennium Falcon towered above Hollywood Blvd. as throngs of fans came to see a new generation of stars carry on the Star Wars legacy.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The air of excitement in Hollywood was palpable this Thursday night as crowds came in droves for the world premiere of the highly anticipated “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”
Towering in the middle of Hollywood Blvd was Disney’s enormous replica of the iconic smuggling spaceship Millennium Falcon, in which fans, many of whom dressed in Solo vests and Lando capes, reveled with pure delight.
The lineup of stars lit up the red carpet with charisma in their trendy outfits. They, of course, included stars from the new film: Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Joonas Suotamo, Woody Harrelson, and Donald Glover.

Harrison Ford, who first portrayed the roguish smuggler in the previous films, was not in attendance, but other iconic stars from the “old” films were on hand for the star-studded event at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. Among them were Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Ewan McGregor.
Directed by Ron Howard, “Solo” stars Alden Ehrenreich in the titular role as Hans Solo. The new “Star Wars" movie — the second one in the anthology series after “Rogue One”— portrays the early adventures of the free-spirited smuggler, including encounters with his future copilot Chewbacca (Joonas Suotam) and space rogue Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover).
