LAPD Searching For Hit-And-Run Suspect In East Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A hit-and-run collision in East Hollywood left a pedestrian seriously injured, and the Los Angeles Police Department is searching for the driver.

The incident took place on March 31 around 9 p.m. According to LAPD, a pedestrian was crossing Fountain Avenue when he was struck by a car driving east from Hobart Boulevard. The man was seriously injured, and the driver fled the scene without stopping to identify themselves or check on the victim.

LAPD described the car as an older white Hyundai, possibly between 2005-2007. A description of the driver wasn't available.

A reward of up to $25,000 is available for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact West Traffic Division detectives at 213-473-0234 or 213-473-0222, and reference report number 21-06-10494.
