Locals Band Together to Clean Up the Trash in East Hollywood

You are invited to join in June 12th.

On Saturday morning, 23 members of the Church of Scientology Los Angeles Volunteer Ministers mustered up in the church's parking lot for a neighborhood cleanup. They had earlier done some scouting around the neighborhood and found mounds of garbage everywhere.

In partnership with the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, Hollywood BID and the Hollywood
Hotel, four teams of Volunteer Ministers tackled the worst areas up and down Vermont, Sunset, and Hollywood Blvd and collected enough trash to fill in a 30 cubic foot dumpster. The team leader, Betsy Davis, who works at the Los Angeles Church of Scientology said, "Multiple neighbors thanked us for cleaning up the streets. We're happy to do it it's really needed so we'll be doing it again!"

The next cleanup is scheduled for 12 June, 9am to noon. If you want to help out, all are welcome, email VMsofSoCal@gmail.com.
