Millennium Hollywood Project Gets OK From Planning Department
The city's Planning Commission is scheduled to consider the project in March.

The Los Angeles Planning Department this week approved a project that includes plans to develop two high-rise buildings adjacent to Hollywood's Capitol Records building, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The Millennium Hollywood project aims to transform 4.47 acres of parking lots into 1 million square feet of residential, hotel, office, restaurant and retail space, as well as a sports club.
Despite push-back from some residents who say the project would increase traffic and ruin views, an attorney representing Millennium Hollywood said skyscrapers will be part of Hollywood's evolvement, the Times reported.
