Remember the maze runners who escaped a mysterious compound surrounded by an ever-changing maze with 200-foot walls? Well, they’re back for another thrilling adventure in the conclusion of the “Maze Runner” trilogy. The saga picks up about six months after the events of the second installment, “The Scorch Trials.” Now, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and the rest of the survivors of a plague must find a haven away from WKCD, the evil empire that caused the devastating disease.

See it. It’s not the best of the bunch. However, the action sequences are exciting and it's a good escapism flick.

“Please Stand By” — Dakota Fanning, Toni Colette, Alice Eve, directed by Ben Lewin

Dakota Fanning stars as an autistic young woman in the dramedy about courage, determination and soul searching. Aspiring screenwriter Wendy (Fanning) has entered a competition for a new “Star Trek” movie. As the contest deadline looms, the 20-year-old ‘Trekker’ must embark on a solo journey to Los Angeles to deliver her manuscript. Along the way, she finds herself.

See it. While the screenplay is lackluster at times, you’ll find yourself cheering on Wendy as she braves her new world. Plus, Fanning is magnificent in her starring role.
